Surrey Bank & Trust, a locally-owned bank in Surry County, North Carolina, is a full-service financial institution committed to the continued growth of the communities it serves in North Carolina and Virginia.

Founded by a group of Mount Airy business executives in 1996, Surrey Bank & Trust offers customers a comprehensive selection of affordable financial products and services, as well as quality service and convenience. Business and personal banking customers will find traditional banking services, investment advice, property and casualty insurance, and a number of other financial services not typically found at a community bank of this size.

We are particularly proud of our efforts to help small business owners in our area. Surrey Bank consistently ranks among the leading Small Business Administration lenders in North Carolina. In recent years, we have also been among the most active SBA community bank lenders in Virginia.

Throughout our history, Surrey Bank has enjoyed consistent growth and profitability. We currently have a five-star superior rating for safety and soundness from BauerFinancial, Inc., Coral Gables, Florida.

Surrey Bank & Trust has more than $300 million in assets and seven full-service branches in Surry and Wilkes Counties in North Carolina, and Patrick County, Virginia.
