Your Right to Continue Overdraft Coverage
Effective August 15, 2010, Surrey Bank & Trust will no longer be allowed to authorize and pay ATM withdrawals and one-time debit card transactions that overdraw your account, unless you have authorized us to do so.¹
In accordance with federal law effecting all financial institutions, we must have your permission to consider approving overdrafts on ATM and everyday debit card transactions.¹ Without your authorization, Surrey Bank & Trust will be required to decline all ATM withdrawals and one-time debit card purchases (such as gas, groceries, retail stores, restaurants, etc.) that would overdraw your account.
