ACH (Automated Clearing House transactions) are a simple, cost-efficient way to:

  • Pay employees by direct deposit
  • Collect recurring customer payments
  • Pay suppliers and vendors automatically
  • Move money between multiple  locations

All Day Banking

When you make a deposit to your Surrey Bank & Trust account before 5 p.m., your account is credited that day, so you’ll have money in your account when you expect it to be there. Some exceptions may apply.

 

Debit Cards

Debit cards are now available for your business checking accounts. Simply complete the application and return to your nearest branch or fax to (336) 789-7868. Accounts requiring two signatures are not eligible for business debit cards. Debit cards may not be linked to sweep, savings, Money Market or consumer accounts.

Sweep Accounts1

Put your idle balances to work using a Surrey Bank sweep account:

Zero-Balance Account

  • This special disbursement account is funded on an as-needed basis through a linked commercial checking account.
    This eliminates idle balances while providing separate audit trails for specific types of disbursement, such as payroll.

Surrey Sweep Account

  • Automatically invests checking account funds above a pre-determined target balance into a special money market account paying a competitive yield.
  • Automatically sweeps funds back to commercial checking account if balance falls below a pre-determined target balance.
  • Sweeps from a money market to a checking account are limited to six per month.

Surrey Sweep Repo Account

  • Automatically invests checking account funds above a pre-determined target balance into a short-term investment account
  • Automatically sweeps funds back to commercial checking account if balance falls below a pre-determined target balance.
